Who Can Join?

To petition a Lodge in New York, you must:

Be a man of lawful age (18+)

Believe in a Supreme Being (regardless of specific faith)

Be of good moral character
-
Be recommended by two Master Masons
-
Have a genuine interest in becoming part of something greater than yourself
The Process

You'll be invited to meet members and learn more about the fraternity.

Submit a Petition
After getting to know you, the Lodge may offer you a petition.

Investigation & Ballot
Your petition will be reviewed, and Lodge members will vote on your acceptance.

Begin Your Masonic Journey
If elected, you'll begin the first of three degrees of initiation.
