About the District

Serving the Heart of the Hudson Valley

The Mid-Hudson District is a proud part of the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the State of New York. Spanning Columbia, Dutchess, Greene, and Ulster counties, our district brings together a diverse group of Lodges united by a shared commitment to brotherhood, personal growth, and service to the community.

With deep roots in the region and a forward-looking spirit, our Lodges carry on centuries-old traditions while actively engaging with the challenges and opportunities of modern life. Whether through charity, mentorship, or fellowship, we strive to embody the timeless values of Freemasonry in everything we do.

What We Do

  • Foster Brotherhood: We create spaces for men of good character to connect, reflect, and grow—together.

  • Support Local Communities: Through outreach, charity, and volunteerism, we give back to the communities we call home.

  • Uphold Masonic Values: Integrity, compassion, and lifelong learning are at the core of our work.

  • Encourage Leadership: We provide opportunities for members to lead, teach, and serve within and beyond the Lodge.

Whether you're a Brother visiting from another district, someone curious about Freemasonry, or a neighbor interested in our work—we welcome you to explore, connect, and discover what makes the Mid-Hudson District unique.

The Mid-Hudson District represents lodges across Columbia, Dutchess, Greene, and Ulster Counties — united by a commitment to brotherhood, tradition, and service.

The Grand Lodge of New York is the governing body of Freemasonry in the State of New York, tracing its lineage back to 1781.
It oversees more than 500 lodges and upholds the values of integrity, brotherly love, and truth across the Empire State.
